Where On Earth Are These People?!

Startup Weekend Reykjavik

Through the years, I have had a fantastic time mentoring entrepreneurs through programs such as Startup Weekend Reykjavík. Totally recommend to anyone who is interested in business to check out Startup Weekend when you get the chance. It is held all over the world at various times a year so you are very likely to be able to find one near you. There are a lot of great people there working on some awesome projects, and I can't wait to see what happens with them in the future. One of the people I spoke to a while back had just finished her studies and was starting out as a consultant in her … [Read more...]

It was all about keyword analysis, meta data, robot txt, link building and all those fun things. Many of those things are still valid, but many are not and its impact is constantly diminishing. … [Read more...]

Do you stick things on your walls?

I am tidying up. What about you? It is something one must do regularly. I have to admit I don't do it enough, but occasionally I get a kick in the butt and I do try to go over my strategy once a year. It really is something you should not need a kick in the butt to do though. Every time I do this, it reminds me how important it is to set things up in a clear way, planning things out. It's a bit like moving house. It's cleansing. Throw out stuff you don't need, realise what you do need. Out with the trash and in with a trip to Ikea and all the consequent organisation! :) One of the very … [Read more...]
