Below you will find a list of the books that underpin my work, whether it be with my clients, my books or my online training. Some of them are academic, some of them could be classed more as pop marketing literature, if you will, but all of them have influenced me as a marketer and I highly recommend them.
As you can see, I have included them as links to Amazon. That way you can easily click through to get more information about them, and purchase them if you want. Should you purchase them through the links, I will make a small commission. I do only list and recommend books and resources that I truly think are worth it and I don’t want you to buy anything unless you are truly interested in it.
BRANDING
The Works of David Aaker
These three books by Aaker were my bibles when I first delved into the world of branding. They are absolute classics and I still refer to them today in my branding work. These are just the three main ones I like out of his large body of work. I also highly recommend his blog, Aaker on Brands.
Here are some more excellent books on branding, starting with the more academic ones and going down to the more accessible ones ;)
MARKETING
Below you will find more general marketing books, again starting with academic classics like Kotler and moving down to more “pop” marketing from modern day marketing gurus.
